About Us
Who We Are
A parent-founded organization advocating for children with deafblindness across Uganda.
Uganda Parents With Deafblind Children Association (UPDBCA) is a non-governmental, nonpartisan, non-religious, and non-profit organization.
Established by parents and caregivers, we create a more inclusive and supportive society for children living with multiple sensory disabilities.
To advocate for legal, health, social, economic, and capacity-building support for parents and their children with deafblindness.
A society where parents and their children with deafblindness enjoy equal rights and equitable access to opportunities for a dignified life.
Our Core Values
Inclusion
Equal opportunities for every child.
Dignity
Upholding the worth of every family.
Empowerment
Equipping caregivers with knowledge.

Why Our Work Matters
Children with deafblindness often face barriers to education, healthcare, communication, and social inclusion.
Families and caregivers also face emotional, social, and economic challenges while seeking support.
UPDBCA exists to ensure that every child has the opportunity to live with dignity, support, and hope.
